Gibraltar's Ocean Village are to build 50 new premier berths for boats over 25ft. Plans are in place to increase the number of berths from 225 to 323 to meet growing demand with superyacht owners due to its convenient location, cut-price fuel and competitive rates.
"We have a pent-up demand for oversized berths and we must deliver them. Gibraltar's marinas are constantly busy and can turn away upwards of 100 boats a day in peak season," said Brian Stevendale, Sales and Marketing Director for Ocean Village.
The new berths will come with a range of added extras such as secure entry and access to award-winning restaurants, bars and the island's only casino.
